Nothing new here, in fact I didn't even leave the house yesterday
except to go into the backyard. Good lord, I need to stop doing
that. It's very hermit-y. My only news is that I'm way behind on
the script re-write, which has become an underpaid pain in my ass,
even though I think it's better than the last draft. And it's gonna
have such a wallop of a twist at the end that maybe it'll all be
worth it afterall if I can make it work. Also, I'm meeting with
a woman who I want to do a documentary about next Tuesday. She suggested
we meet at a particular restaurant on the coast which I wasn't familiar
with, so I looked it up. Fancypants! I'm going to have to mortage
my house or sell one of the dogs to pay for it. In fact probably
this lunch will cost more than the price of all the props on my
last short film. Yikes. I'm such a tightwad.
In
other news, The Germs "Land of Treason" just came on iTunes.
Don't say I'm not eclectic.
Now
I take you to Photo Friday.
Spring
has kind of sprung. We went to the nursery last weekend and spent
lots of money on plants, which always makes me clutch my chest and
groan. You never know if they'll live past a season, and they're
expensive! Money is much better spent on fancypants lunches.
Paul
hasn't learned to share yet.
In
some parts, they call this long creature a "puppy".
It's
tough to get mad at this face, even when he's eating your tax returns.
The
old man is going gray around the edges. And he's only four! He says
it's Beans' fault.
