I
got nothin. Gray's in Vancouver on business and I'm sitting here
drinking chocolate milk (rBST-free) and that's all I got. Things
are not worth reporting on. Beans just escaped into the neighbors'
front yard after our gardener left the gate open, and that's about
the most exciting thing that's happened, except that when another
neighbor came outside to talk about it she gave me some asparagus
soup. And peppermints for my as-of-yet nonexistent heartburn. Apparently
peppermint is big as a cure in the UK, which is where she got them.
I am so totally boring myself right now.

What
should I do while Gray's gone? Watch movies I like? Go out and stay
late? Play my music at full volume? I'm not sure what to do, as
it occurs to me now that I'm very rarely alone for days on end and
am out of practice. I usually don't mind it when it happens, though,
and lord knows I have a built in burglar alarm with the dogs, but
now I find myself being kind of sad. Is it because I'm hormonal?
Or because I told him not to have an affair with the HR director
he's traveling with because I feel bloated and unattractive? I'm
not sure what's wrong with me, I just know I can't solve it with
a couple of Captain Morgans and tonics like I maybe did in the past.
Boo hoo, poor old formerly drunkie me.

you've got a Tower Records near you, go. Everything's 75% off. Sad
that they're closing... it's like part of my youth is being amputated.
Also,
it's a good time of year for craft fairs. This BazaarBizarre's
a good big one, as will the book fair at Wax
Poetic be. One could spend all their time buying crafty goods
in Los Angeles these next few weekends if one so desired. What I've
been doing that's crafty lately is collecting fun images to put
on baby onesies. Here are some:
